I bet many of you have wondered why sales consultants are always trying to set appointments with customers. I mean, it's not like the doctor's office or something. You might just want to swing by, look at a car, and that's all. Well, appointments actually allow us to give you, the customer, the best possible service around.
It might seem like a sales constultant just writes your name down on a board and reads the newspaper while waiting for you to come by the dealership. However, they actually get ready for you to come in. They will "touch" the car you are interested in and make sure it's ready for you to see, test drive, and kick around the tires. While out inspecting that car, they will also see if there are any other options on the lot that might be a good choice based on previous conversations. Not everyone loves the car they first picked out by looking at an ad or the website. So, they make mental notes on what else might be available. They will also set aside 2-3 hours and not schedule any other appointments during that time. They are dedicated to you and your car buying experience and nothing else.
You might not believe this, but our sales staff actually looks forward to 100% of their appointments and so do I. We anticipate that the customer will show up and no matter how many times our staff member or even myself has been stood up, it always feels personal. I know...it sounds ridiculous but it's true. Yes, a doctor will just charge you for the missed appointment and move on. But it's never an easy day when your appointments don't show up.
So, please make appointments and let us give you the customer service you deserve.
