So there was an incredible thunder and lightening show to finish off the abnormal, "Is it a full moon?" Friday that was June 19th. Of course...there always has to be a nice customer story to finish off the perfect "weird" Friday.
We had a customer bring their car in that they had bought from us. They went to Alton's who told them that some plug was loose and was leaking some type of fluid. She did not want to pay for us to also see if that was the case and diagnose the problem. So...we were at a standstill. Then she informed us that when she bought the car in April, the sales person told her that if "anything" came up in the 1st 90 days, that it would be covered! Sales people usually do not say such blanket statements because who knows what could happen in 90 days on a car but we had to listen to the customer and do some investigation. So, my husband had to get involved and see what was going on. We did some searching around to see if there were any problems with the car previously, etc. and well..it comes to be that the customer bought the car LAST April. April 2008!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure this customer didn't mean to have 3 people drop everything to get to the bottom of the situation.....to make sure the customer is taken care of....but I guess this is part of having an owner in the store everyday. The Spokane Chrysler difference.
Sigh. That was the kind of day we had yesterday. Hoping today is better.
